Venders Used On My Supercharged 1996 Windstar |
|
What do you get when you take a Eaton M112 supercharger, have a 3.8 litre built to handle upward of 10 PSI of boost and squeeze it into a Windstar? |
|
|
eBay; where purchased my M112 supercharger for just over $500.00 brand new, never installed for just over $500.00 plus minimal shipping. It was for a 2003 Cobra but someone must have snuck it out the back door or something for me to get it that "cheaply". Not one scuff mark around the bolt holes and it turned without any resistance, so who knows...! Super Six
Motorsports: The best Engine builder I've ever worked with. The owner, Tom
has made a reputation of doing thing the right way. He has the First 10
second full bodied Mustang without any additives! Snow
Performance Water/Alcohol Injection: If you want some awesome valve covers, these cast aluminum pieces do the trick! Though chrome doesn't make you vehicle run any better, they look pretty good. As a bachelor, I have it made. How many women will let their husband keep an engine in the bedroom...? You might run across one or two in a crowd of 50 men & women if even that. A Mr. Gasket oil filter
relocation kit, header wrap for my exhaust (eBay), Royal Purple fully
synthetic transmission fluid, 6 quarts of Valvoline
10W40 motor oil. To get the least expensive Royal Purple, click on my R/P icon, RPM Oil not only
carries R/P oil but some terrific oil filters also. You don't get the best
for free except maybe on Christmas, but they know what they sell, at a great
price! Currently I'm only running it in my transaxle and after the engine
gets broke in, I'll run Royal Purple in it also. After I get it back, I'll add such show parts like Lokar oil dipsticks for the trans and engine, but first things first. The go fast parts first and then the decorative item's that will dress things up a little. If your question is,
"Why the #%# a Windstar?" Well, here's the answer in a
nutshell: A number of years ago I was in a motorcycle accident in which I
broke my neck. Prior to that I enjoyed drag and road racing my
different 1969 Ford Mustang mach 1's. The want and will to accelerate never
and I mean never goes away, and then continues on until the bitter end! |
